About Palestine Books for Libraries

This campaign was initied by members of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign Darlington group.

We hope this micro-campaign will help educate more people on Palestinian issues, politics, art and history, by providing easier access to literature at local libraries.

Most libraries are very happy to stock more literature and you are unlikely to face pushback for requesting books. Libraries report back to the local council on engagement with the local public, and having more figures about book purchase requests will help library managers too - it will help them make an argument to keep libraries running!
